Throughout Slime Rancher 2, you’ll occasionally notice various types of aggressive slimes that attack you on sight. Sometimes it’s Tarr slimes that do this, and, other times, it’s Feral slimes. You might even lose health after accidentally running into an innocent rock slime! How to Increase Your Health in Slime Rancher 2
You can increase your health by buying Heart Modules at the Fabricator. To access the Fabricator, head towards the staircase next to the Plort Market and descend until you find the laboratory. Within this room is the Refinery, where you deposit your resources and the Fabricator used to craft your upgrades. Head into the Fabricator to get started.

In your Fabricator, you’ll find multiple categories and items to create. For the Heart Module, you’ll focus on the Upgrades tab. Here, you’ll find the module and how many resources it costs. Thankfully, it is initially one of the cheaper upgrades and only requires the following resources:
- Newbucks x450: Sell plorts at the Plort Market and crack open Treasure Pods
- Pink Plorts x10: Feed pink slimes and pick up their plorts. They eat any food type, so go wild
After upgrading the heart module for the first time, you’ll gain an extra 50 health for 150 total. However, you’ll have to progress through the story, speak to NPCs through the Comm Station, and open treasure pods for more upgrades.
