Don’t like the default furniture layout and other stuff in your ship in Lethal Company? No problem! You can move your items around for functional or aesthetic purposes, or just because you’re bored while waiting for your crewmates to return to the ship with all the expensive scrap.

How to Move Stuff Around in Your Ship in Lethal Company

You can move almost anything in your ship by approaching it and pressing “B” on your keyboard. Then, a new interface will come up on your screen, offering you to place the item down by pressing the letter “B” again, rotating the item (clockwise) by pressing the letter “R,” or store the item by pressing the letter “X” (for applicable items).

While the item is picked up, you will see a silhouette to help you position it better.

If you store a furniture item, you can later access it from the “Storage” section in the Terminal, which allows you to redeploy it within the ship’s premises (and, of course, to move it where you please again).

Should You Move Your Stuff Around in Your Ship in Lethal Company?

By all means: Yes. One big example I have to share is the Terminal position, which you should move right next to the main computer, where the security cameras are. This cuts down the time you need to switch between the Terminal and the main computer, which can mean the difference between life and death for your crewmates in the facility. Ideally, one crewmate should stay on the ship, help with the Turrets, and communicate vital information to the team via walkie-talkie.
