How to Pre-Order the Tears of the Kingdom Link Amiibo

The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is just around the corner! On May 12, along with the long-awaited game, a brand new amiibo figure of Link will arrive. This version of Link has the new Tears of the Kingdom gear seen in the trailers, and the arm extended with which he uses the new Ultrahand ability – one of the main mechanics of the long-awaited Breath of the Wild sequel. To pre-order Link amiibo Tears of the Kingdom version, check out Walmart or Best Buy. In both stores, you can pre-order it online for $15.99. They seem to be in stock right now – so go for it before it’s too late!

What Does Link amiibo Unlock in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom?

By scanning this amiiibo in the game you will get additional weapons and materials, as well as a special bonus fabric design for Link’s Paraglider. It seems like a nice bonus and the figure looks badass! Also, if you happen to have previous Zelda amiibo figures from Breath of the Wild, Skyward Sword, and Majora’s Mask, you can scan them in the new game as well.

It is not yet known what in-game effects tapping other The Legend of Zelda amiibo figures will bring aside from additional designs for the Glider, and whether other figures will be supported.
