How to Read the Dictionary in BitLife
When you create a new character and age them up, you’ll unlock reading under Activities > Mind & Body > Book. Initially, as a child, you’ll mostly have access to children’s books. As your character ages, you begin to see novels, comics and other book types appear in the search. If you don’t see a book you like, you can just close and reopen the pop-up menu and look through the list again.
Once you’re ready to search for the dictionary, look through the book list until you see “The Merriam-Webster Dictionary”. As of writing this, the dictionary is over 3000 pages long, and if you have plenty of patience, you can individually tap through each page until it’s done.
What if you don’t want to, though? Don’t worry; there’s another solution.
When you choose a book to read, you’ll find three options: abandon it, pick a different book or watch the movie instead. By selecting the movie option, you’ll find a brief, unskippable ad, much like what you’ll see if you go to the in-game movie theater. After completing the ad, you’ll automatically finish the book, rewarding you with an achievement and progress towards various challenges.
