How to Restore Power to Curtis’ House in Dead Island 2
Once you leave Emma’s Bel-Air Mansion in search of the authorities, you’ll quickly encounter a friendly voice on a street intercom. This man is Curtis, and he needs your help. And to do so, you must bring back some zap to his house. Here’s how to restore power to Curtis’ House in Dead Island 2.
Once you’ve spoken to Curtis, he’ll usher you into the gate of his home, where you quickly help knock out some well-dressed party crashers. Or, if you’re me, you just stared at them while they walked into the fire and burned to death. Double death? The final death. Whatever. They stopped moving.
Upon clearing out the lawn of zombies, Curtis will ask you to restore power to his house. To restore power to Curtis’ house, head towards the pool room to Curtis’ left. Follow the path down until you reach a small utility room. Be wary upon opening it, as you’ll be jumped by a zombie immediately.

Kill the zombie inside, and you’ll see that the wire has been cut. There are two ways to connect the electricity. Both involve water. You can hit the blue pipe just beyond the electrified wire. This is a city water pipe, and it will spurt out water which will then let the electrical current run to the other wire.
The second option is to exit the room and look beside the door. There will be a blue container. These containers are full of water. Pick up the container and use your attack button to throw water at the space between the two wires on the ground in the utility closet.
The water will connect the electrical stream to the cut wire, restoring power to Curtis’ house. This charge won’t last long, but it’s enough for what we need to do.
Return to Curtis to tell him the good news.
