Sims 4: How to Scoot Over in Bed?

While playing The Sims 4, you probably noticed that the Sims sometimes turn over on their own in bed and change the side they sleep on automatically, but it happens only after they fall asleep.

If you want to manually force your Sims to free up space in the bed by scooting to the other side you need to do the following:

  1. Click on the Bed
  2. Click Sleep to make your Sim lie down
  3. Quickly before your Sim falls asleep click on the empty side of the bed where you want your Sim to scoot over

If you manage to pull this off fast enough your Sim will scoot over to the other side and fall asleep there, leaving the room in the bed for another Sim – just a few clicks! If only it was that simple in real life.

Just one more thing to note, if the double bed is too close to the wall, although you’ll be able to make two Sims share it at the same time, you won’t be able to use it for well, some “WooHoo” action – because that would require both Sims go to bed in the exact same time, which is not possible with scooting, so be careful where you place that double bed!
