Diablo 4 – How to Use Target Farming Tools to Get Uniques
While there is no way to guarantee that you’ll get a specific unique every time you enter a dungeon, you can use tools like the Diablo 4 Unique Target Farming site to boost your chances. Originally posted on Reddit, you can select the unique of your choice to view the best monster types and dungeons to visit to raise your odds of obtaining that item.
Let’s use the infamous Harlequin Crest or Shako as an example. While many of us know this unique is extremely rare, the tool suggests that Cultists in dungeons like Cultist’s Refuge, Conclave, and Serpent’s Lair have higher odds of dropping this item. Granted, it is still a rare drop, and you’re unlikely to get the item after your first few runs, but it gives you an idea of where to go if you want that particular drop.

As of now, I’m using this to farm dungeons like the Conclave and Aldurwood for my Sorceress. While I had previously suspected that Aldurwood would be a decent spot, I learned about different areas like Blind Burrows and Maulwood, which I’d eventually planned on farming for other reasons. While RNG hasn’t quite blessed me with the Uniques I want just yet, having a resource to steer me in the right direction has been much more helpful than aimlessly running random dungeons and hoping for the best.
Update: I got some uniques! I ran two instances of Maulwood Nightmare Dungeons and got back-to-back unique drops that matched the odds shown in this calculator. While this was certainly an example of extremely high luck, I was thankful that the tool worked to get the unique drops I wanted.
At the end of the day, though, we’ll still need luck to smile down on us if we want all the Uniques we’re looking for.
