How to Throw Golden Eggs in Splatoon 3 Salmon Run
Once you pick up one of the Golden Eggs, that boss enemies drop in Salmon Run. You need to hold the A button, giving you a trajectory of your throw. Now you just need to release where you want to Golden Egg to land, and you will throw it. This requires the same amount of ink as your typical sub-weapon, so be sure you’re not low on your ink before throwing; otherwise, it won’t work.
If you don’t have enough ink hit the ZL button to dip into your own ink and gather some up. Throwing Golden Eggs can make a huge difference in securing the bag or not, so learning how to master it is key. You can practice your throws in the training area inside of Grizzco.

You can also launch Golden Eggs from a launcher, which drops from the “Big Launcher” enemy type. You can’t aim the shots, but it’s an excellent way to quickly get the Golden Eggs closer to the basket. When you’re in the heat of battle, every second counts.
