There are a few movement modifications that you can get in for V and one of the best is certainly the double jump in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0. Until you get this upgrade, exploration and climbing aren’t nearly as smooth, so I’m here to help you get the preem legs you’ve always deserved.
How to Get the Double Jump in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0
To unlock the double jump, you need to install some Cyberware in your legs that will allow you to jump twice. I personally use the Reinforced Tendons Cyberware in my leg slot, and on top of the double jump that they provide, I also get armor with some decent Reflex stat boosts. Leg upgrades for the stats alone are highly recommended.
If you want to install the Leg Cyberware, you need to find a Ripperdoc and spend a large chunk of Eddies in the process. After Update 2.0 went live in Cyberpunk 2077, every single Ripperdoc gained access to the same Cyberware. Inventories may change in terms of Iconics depending on the missions you complete, but overall, the Ripperdocs remain the same.
In general, the leg and arm slots for Cyberware offer the most utility. The arms give you access to weapons such as the Mantis Blades or the Gorilla Arms. On the other hand, legs give you far better movement offerings. Once you unlock the double jump, it’s hard to go back to the tiny hamstring life.
How to Double Jump in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0
- Go to a Ripperdoc and purchase Cyberware for your legs.
- Double-tap “X/A” on a controller.
- Double-tap the spacebar on a keyboard.
Considering how much of a technical load the major Cyberware pieces can require, I recommend putting some points into the early stages of the Technical tree. My build makes plenty of use of Cyberware, and you want as much chrome as you can get in Night City.
