When Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League begins, you are forced to take on Brainiac’s forces in nothing but some Arkham prison clothes and some broken armor. Eventually, you get your standard gear and you can collect some additional outfits to keep the squad looking good.
How to Unlock Outfits in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
You can unlock more outfits by completing the Riddler aerial assault courses and earning at least one star. The courses are scattered around the city of Metropolis and are marked by a green question mark with a circle. When you open up your map, you can find the question mark with three stars beneath it. These indicate whether you have completed them depending on if the stars are filled in.
Each challenge has three tiers of rewards based on how fast you can complete the aerial assault courses. Getting one star always unlocks a new outfit item for one character in the squad. Earning two stars gets you the rest of that outfit set. And if you are fast enough to earn all three stars, you can also collect a banner.
You will run into Riddler’s challenges very early into Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, so there is no need to worry if you can’t see the question marks yet. Cruising through the story will get you closer to more courses that are tied to cosmetic unlocks, but I don’t recommend rushing just for the looks. Most of them don’t offer much in the way of variety.
Of course, the last option to get more outfits in Suicide Squad is to buy them from the store. Any costumes you see online but just can’t seem to find in the game are likely tied to real-world currency. So you have to grind out some challenges around Metropolis or fork over some cash to get the outfits that you want.
Sometime post-launch, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will start rolling out Battle Passes to coincide with new seasons. These Battle Passes will include new cosmetics to unlock and will have both free and premium tiers. Whether or not new outfits will be up for grabs on the free tier of each Battle Pass is unclear, but at the very least, you’ll always have access to every Battle Pass even after the end of a Season, meaning new outfits won’t have limited-time exclusivity.

- Fugitive: Default starting outfit from the prologue.
- Task Force X: Default starting outfit after the prologue.
- Classic: Unlocked as a pre-order bonus.
- Justice Losers: Exclusive to the Deluxe Edition.
- Rogue: Unlocked as a pre-order bonus for PlayStation.
Each outfit has a separate, distinct version for each character. For example, Harley Quinn’s Justice Losers outfit is based on Wonder Woman, while Captain Boomerang’s is based on the Flash.
If you’re sticking to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’s base game, you’ll only have the two default outfits to choose from. But you’ll at least have some palette swaps you can unlock if you complete Riddler’s side activities. Hopefully, Suicide Squad’s free Battle Passes will be much more generous.
And anyone who has the Deluxe Edition will at least have access to the Justice Losers outfits for the squad.
