Solar Smash is our favorite simulator for destroying planets and various celestial objects. In the mobile game, the only goal is to destroy planets using crazy weapons. But, why is it so popular? Well, it looks nice with voxel graphics and very realistic destruction effects – and there are many hidden secrets that add to the fun.
After the recent update, there is another hidden heavenly body that you can blow up with bombs, lasers, and space worms, or at least try… because it’s the SUN! Let’s find out how to unlock the Sun in Solar Smash.
How to Unlock the Sun in Solar Smash
To unlock Sun in Solar Smash, make sure that you have the latest version of the game installed.
Go into the Planet Smash mode and tap on the planet icon in the lower left corner. There under Sol System, select the planet Mars. Once you have Mars on your screen, zoom out and rotate the camera until you can see the Sun in the background.

Tap on the UFO-type weapon on the toolbar on the right and select the first weapon on the list – the green UFO. Now tap as much as you can on the Sun to send a lot of UFOs to attack it. Wait a little bit and the Sun will blow up turning into a supernova, completely obliterating Mars in its powerful explosion.
After this is done, a few achievements will pop up and the Sun will be unlocked as the last hidden planet under the Unknown System menu. Now you can have fun trying to blow up the star!
