In so many ways, Nimue is larger than life. A goddess of the Faes, she’s seen and experienced things beyond our knowing. And yet, she seems to look at us with good-natured amusement. Which is great, because she can craft for us. Unless she’s asleep, of course. Here’s how to wake Nimue in Remnant 2.
How to Wake Nimue in Remnant 2
When you first encounter the massive blue faerie goddess in Remnant 2, she’ll be very much awake. And she’ll be instrumental to your journey, as she’s the only one who can help you track down the Nightweaver. After all, the Nightweaver is her corrupted sister.
But once you defeat the Nightweaver, you might want to return to Nimue for any number of reasons. Perhaps you want to let her know her sister is dead (kind of messed up, but whatever). Or maybe you just want to put her to work, crafting some of the unique items that only she can make. And while that’s all well and good, there’s a very decent chance that when you approach her next, she’ll be asleep. Fortunately, there’s an easy solution to that.
Nimue can be woken up by loading in and out of Nimue’s Retreat. That’s right, you’ll need to completely leave her area and return to Nimue’s retreat. To do this, approach a Checkpoint and then leave the world, perhaps going to Ward 13. Then, return to Nimue’s Retreat. Run down the long path to her chamber, and there’s a good chance she’ll be awake. If not, you can try the same method again. Alternatively, you can always wake her up with the Dreamcatcher Weapon. Touching her with this melee weapon is guaranteed to wake her up.
