No matter if you’re playing on mobile or PC, you’ll find that Bloons TD6 is one of the best tower defense games in recent memory. With a massive variety of troops available to you, alongside plenty of Bloons to pop with special powers and upgrades, the fun is almost limitless. Add in a co-op mode that gives you the chance to play with friends, and you’ve got your weekend plans sorted without a second thought. However, if you’re hoping to play with a friend that is on another platform, can you? Let’s grab our favorite monkeys and find out if BTD6 offers any sort of cross-platform functionality.
Can You Play BTD6 Cross-Platform?
Thankfully, the answer to this question is a resounding YES, and the process couldn’t be easier. The first thing that you’ll want to do is click or tap on the Play Social option that is shown on the main menu. After doing this, depending on if you plan on being the host, you’ll find a Code that you can give to your friends, regardless of the platform they are on. Once everyone has joined on, click Ready and you’ll be popping Bloons with your buddies.
If you’re looking to join a match, however, you’ll want to click on Join Match and punch in the code that you have received from the Host. Once you have done this, you’ll be added to the queue until everyone joins, and then the party can start. With Co-Op, you can play with up to three other people, or create a public lobby to fill it up with random players.

Does BTD6 Have Cross-Progression?
If you’re hoping to keep your levels and continue playing on a different platform, you’ll be glad to know that this feature is also available for Bloons TD6. To make this happen, you’ll first need to purchase the game on the platforms on which you hope to play. After you have the copies, you’ll just need to sign up for a Ninja Kiwi account, which will let you take your progress wherever you go.
To do this, you’ll first want to click or tap on the Settings Icon, which is shown on the left side of the screen. After this, you’ll want to click on Account. If you have not created an account before, this will let you either Sign In or Sign Up, so you won’t have to leave the game to create an account. Once you have done this, you’ll just need to add your account to your second device following the same instructions as above, and you’ll keep all of your progress across the board.
