The main highlight of the Deluxe Edition is the “A Boon for Adventurers – New Journey Pack”. As the name suggests, the contents of this pack can be pretty beneficial right when you start your journey. Let’s take a look at all the content that is available in this pack.

- Custom Sounds: Some of the in-game sounds and music will be changed to tracks from Dragon’s Dogma.
- Wakestone: Helps to restore the dead.
- Art of Metamorphosis: Edit appearance of a character/pawn.
- Harpysnare Smoke Beacons: Allows you to attract Harpies.
- Ambivalent Rift Incense: Allows you to change the inclination of your pawn.
- Heartfelt Pendant: Can act as a valuable gift.

How Much is the Dragon’s Dogma 2 Deluxe Edition?
The Deluxe Edition is priced at $79.99, which is $10 above what the Standard Edition costs. Do note that there’s no separate way to purchase the New Journey Pack apart from acquiring the Deluxe Edition.
Is the Dragon’s Dogma 2 Deluxe Edition Worth It?
The answer depends on what type of experience you are looking for. Yes, the price markup isn’t that significant, and some of the bonus items can be acquired as you play the game, however, the starting point of any video game can be a bit tricky. The New Journey Pack will certainly provide you with an advantage that could be beneficial especially if you’re new to this genre.
That said, there’s no harm in saving $10 by getting the Standard Edition if you’re tight on budget. However, I do believe that the Deluxe Edition is priced pretty fairly, and you couldn’t go wrong with it either (as long as you’re not stretching your budget).
