Will Dragon’s Dogma 2 be on Xbox Game Pass?

Unfortunately, Dragon’s Dogma 2 will not be available on Xbox Game Pass.

Although several third-party titles are added on their launch day to the Xbox Game Pass, it depends on potential agreements between Xbox and the developers of different video games. As of writing on March 12, there hasn’t been any fresh word of agreement between Capcom and Xbox.

Hence, Dragon’s Dogma 2 won’t be available on the Game Pass on March 22, 2024. However, you can enjoy the full game and all its contents on your Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles. If you’re on older-gen hardware, however, you’ll sadly need to upgrade as Capcom has ditched the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 (like other developers in recent times).

Could Dragon’s Dogma 2 Come to the Xbox Game Pass in the Future?

While the upcoming RPG might not be added to the Game Pass on the day of its release, it could be eventually added. In fact, several games from Capcom have made their way to Xbox’s subscription service in recent times. This includes somewhat similar titles like Monster Hunter Rise and starkly different ones like the Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 Remakes.

Hence, there’s nothing to rule out a future agreement between Capcom and Xbox in the upcoming future. For now, you can pre-order the game on your Xbox consoles, and it’s available in two different editions – Standard and Deluxe. The same also applies if you’re planning to purchase on PlayStation or on Windows.
