Not much time is left for the release of F1 24 and, as usual, such titles are frequently added to the EA Play subscription. This allows members to enjoy all the content for a monthly fee instead of having to pay a premium upfront. As all the previous releases are part of the subscription, it has left many wondering what EA Sports will do with its upcoming launch. Is F1 24 on EA Play?
Will F1 24 be on EA Play?
It’s highly unlikely that the upcoming racing simulator will be added to EA’s subscription service on day one. The developers have not provided any news indicating it will be added to the base version of EA Play. Over the last few years, the same treatment has been provided to all F1 video games.
That said, this year’s title is expected to be part of the subscription service soon. Both F1 22 and F1 23 eventually arrived on the Play lineup, much to the delight of racing fans. However, a date isn’t known as of this writing, and it’s unlikely to be anytime soon.
Do note that if you own the Pro version, you’ll be able to enjoy the entire game. This benefit can only be enjoyed directly from the EA app, and it’s noticeably costlier than the base version. However, members with the pro tier won’t have to make a separate purchase to enjoy the content. Additionally, they’ll be able to enjoy all the benefits of the Champions Edition, along with three days of early access.
Will F1 24 Come to the Xbox Game Pass?
When it comes to games made/published by EA, they normally appear on Xbox Game Pass as soon as they’re added to EA Play. This is because EA’s subscription is embedded within the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate/PC Game Pass. Subscribers don’t need to pay anything to enjoy the added benefits.
Of course, several third-party titles are also added to the Game Pass on day one. In this case, however, subscribers will have to wait until the racing simulator is added to EA’s subscription. It remains to be seen when EA Sports decides to add the title to the base catalog.
