The answer is – yes! God of War Ragnarok will indeed get a New Game Plus mode through an upcoming free update in 2023. as it was confirmed on the official Santa Monica Studio’s Twitter account.

New Game Plus mode is coming to God of War Ragnarok through a free update during Spring 2023 – no exact date has been confirmed yet.

Although we still don’t have any real details about God of War Ragnarok’s New Game Plus mode, it is very likely that it will be similar to the one that was implemented in the first game. The previous God of War from 2018 got New Game Plus update a few months after the game’s release. In this mode, players were able to transfer gear and abilities earned while playing the standard campaign and even craft some new armor sets for Kratos and Atreus.

It remains to be seen what this mod will bring to God of War Ragnarok, we will probably find out before its release sometime during the Spring of 2023.
