We know how we can enjoy Minecraft Legends alongside our friends while we bravely fend off those huge hoards of Piglins trying to conquer our Overworld, but do they need to be on the same platforms as you, or can they join you from any of the various platforms the game is available?
Does Minecraft Legends Have Crossplay?
Minecraft Legends does have Crossplay features, and they are enabled by default. The game is coming out for basically every single one of the modern-gen platforms: Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X|S, and, of course, PC through Steam and Xbox. It’s also a Game Pass Day 1 title, which makes it even more accessible for everyone who wants to engage in this tactical adventure filled with pigs and blocks.
Trailers have also emphasized multiplayer as one of its biggest features, and considering how all other Minecraft titles also have cross-platform features enabled by default, it would be rather strange to see a new, flashy title coming out without it. So don’t worry if you’re rocking those castles through Game Pass and your Switch friend wants to join the fray. You can do it with no problems.

The game brings a PvE mode in which you can tackle alone or with friends, where you join forces in your search for resources and build a team castle before finally engaging against the swine threat from another realm.
But if that’s not your cup of tea, you can also choose to go with the PvP mode, where you can battle another team to see who has actual supremacy over who. Hostile mobs are still present but act as a neutral force, and there are some incentives to slay them that can give you that so-desired final push to defeat your opponent once and for all. You’re good for playing with anyone, no matter your platform, so get on your horse and start building!
