Mortal Kombat 1 has now officially been announced. Pre-orders start on May 19, 2023, and the game is expected to release on September 19, 2023. This gives enough time for the fighting game community player base to be hyped. The cinematic trailer we have seen looks pretty solid, and many gamers are wondering which Mortal Kombat 1 characters will be available in the game. Prima Games is here to deliver the list of all MK1 characters that have been confirmed so far. Be mindful, this is not everything, so bookmark the page and check back at a later date, when we get more information on this.

So far, nine characters are confirmed. Of course, there will be a lot more added later, including the Kameo ones, so patience is advised until more information is available regarding this subject.

Differences Between Characters in Original Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat 1
This is all pretty similar to the original, OG, FIRST EVER Mortal Kombat, which had most of these characters (some marginal differences are to be seen, seeing that the original MK had Johnny Cage, Kano, Liu Kang, Raiden, Reptile, Scorpion, Shang Tsung, Sonya Blade, Sub-Zero). Be mindful that we will still need to update this list as soon as more information is released. Thank you for your patience!
