How to Upgrade Headliners in Madden 24 Ultimate Team
To upgrade Headliner player cards in Madden Ultimate Team, players must have Training Points and the Special Token Card for a specific Headliner player item or one that can be used on all types of Headliners. If you have the Token but not the Training Points, you might not be able to unlock the upgrade for the player. Sometimes, to unlock upgrade slots, Training Points will be required.
Headliner Tokens can be obtained by completing challenges, playing matches, and leveling up. For every level up, there will be rewards, such as Fantasy Player packs, Upgrade Tokens, Ultimate Team Coins, and XPs. Only at a certain threshold of your leveling up in MUT will one of the rewards be an Upgrade Token for a player item. Different players have a different number of upgrades, and there is no set amount. Therefore, knowing how many tokens you’ll need for a player will vary.

The Headliner Tokens, titled Front Page Tokens, can be used on any Headliner Player Item. When the upgrade items are specific to the player and can only be used on them, you’ll notice the difference when the token has the specific player’s name on the card.
Upgrading your Headliners in your lineup helps make big improvements to your performances on the field and adds to the Team Chemistry within your lineup. The better a player’s Team Chemistry in your lineup and the more clubs you unlock for affiliation, the more your attributes will boost significantly. It will, in turn, be easier to select your starting lineup. Token upgrades can also help unlock more player traits.
