Daimyo Hermitaur Weaknesses in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak
Send the Daimyo Hermitaur to his doom by using these tips and tricks:
Elemental Damage Weaknesses
- Fire Damage: Fire-type weapons will cause the most damage to this challenging foe. Aim for its claws, head, torso, and shell for full impact.
- Thunder Damage: Similar to fire, thunder weapons cause massive damage to Daimyo Hermitaur. Its head is most prone to thunder attacks, followed by the shell, torso, and claws.
- Ice Damage: Ice attacks are the next big thing you can attack it with. Again, aim for the head if you want to kill it quicker.
- Water Damage: Daimyo Hermitaur is an elemental water monster, which means it is resistant to water damage.
- Ice Damage: Ice-type weapons won’t cause much damage, just like water.
- Dragon Damage: It is completely immune to Dragon elemental attacks.
Physical Damage Weaknesses
- Slashing Damage – Slashing weapons work quite well against this gargantuan crab. The head, torso, and legs take more damage if you opt for slashing.
- Blunt Damage: Blunt weapons cause the most damage to Daimyo Hermitaur. Every part of its body is prone to blunt attacks, though you should still focus on the head, torso, shell, and legs.
- Ammo Damage: Ammo weapons are not as successful as other physical damage-type weapons but still cause decent damage. If you opt for Ammo, then aim for the legs, torso, and arms.
Now that you know Daimyo Hermitaur’s weaknesses, go out there and face the vivid monster in Sandy Planes, Flooded Forest, Shrine Ruins, and Jungle. However, you will only find it after you have reached the Master Rank quests.
