As stated above, shiny hunting using the outbreak picnic technique is extremely easy. There are only a few simple steps that need to be completed.

Firstly, players must locate a Pokemon outbreak. Outbreaks can be found by checking your map and looking for a red flashing icon next to a Pokemon.

Once you have found an outbreak to your liking, head over to it.

Now that you are at the outbreak, you must proceed to defeat 60 of the Pokemon in the outbreak. This will give you the max shiny chance.

Now is where the Picnic method begins!

After killing 60 outbreak Pokemon, simply pop down a Picnic table while inside of the outbreak. This will reset all of the currently spawned Pokemon.
