The upcoming Pokemon GO Hatch Day features our small, blue, buoyant friend, Azurill. Azurill was first introduced in Generation III, a pre-evolution to Marill. During the upcoming Hatch Day, Pokemon GO trainers will have the opportunity to hatch ’em all and hopefully find a shiny Azurill! Here’s everything to expect during September’s Pokemon GO Hatch Day.

Event Date and Time
The Pokemon GO Azurill Hatch Day event will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.
Featured Pokemon
The featured Pokemon will be none other than Azurill. Event participants can expect to hatch Azurill much more frequently from 2KM eggs. During the event, Azurill that are hatched will also have a boosted chance to be shiny.
Event Bonuses
The following bonuses will be active during the event period:
- Trainers will have an increased chance to obtain a shiny Azurill from 2KM eggs.
- Trainers will receive 2X Candy from hatching Eggs.
- Trainers will receive 2X Stardust from hatching Eggs.
- During the event, 2KM Eggs will be awarded much more frequently when spinning PokeStops.
Timed Research
During the event, trainers will have access to free Timed Research. This research will reward trainers with both a Super Incubator and XP upon completion. As with all Timed Research, players must complete it before the event ends at 5 PM local time.
Field Research
During the event, trainers will be able to spin PokeStops to receive event-specific Field Research. Completing these tasks will reward trainers with Poke Balls, Stardust, Berries, and XP.
Azurill Hatch Day Web Store Bundle
The Pokemon GO Web Store will be offering two bundles for the Hatch Day event. These bundles are the Ultra Hatch Box and the Great Hatch Box, which will provide trainers with extra incubators, something that’s always useful during events such as this.
Hopefully, you will find that RNG is on your side, and you will manage to hatch a shiny Azurill or two. Pokemon GO is known for back-to-back events, so there’s a strong chance that you’ll be participating in the Pokemon GO Psychic Spectacular event concurrently!
