As both Primal Legendary Pokemon have their own specific day, each event is quite similar. Splitting them into two allows trainers the opportunity to focus on catching each shiny variant on either day. Or maybe you are a fan of Groudon and oppose Kyogre and its ocean-increasing ways. Either way, here’s everything you need to know about both events.
Pokemon GO Raid Day: Primal Kyogre
Primal Kyogre is first off the mark with its Raid Day.
Date and Time
The Pokemon GO Raid Day: Primal Kyogre will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.
Event Bonuses
The following event bonuses will be live for the duration of Pokemon GO Raid Day: Primal Kyogre.
- There will be a greater number of Primal Kyogre raids.
- Trainers will receive an extra five Raid Passes by spinning PokeStops during the event.
- Trainers will have an increased chance to encounter shiny Kyogre.
- Trainers will be able to participate in an increased maximum of twenty remote raids between the period of March 16, 2024, at 5:00 PM to Sunday, March 17, 2024, at 8:00 PM PDT.

- Trainers will receive 2X XP from Raid Battles.
