Trainers will be able to purchase Paid Timed Research at any time during the event period. Of course, the earlier that one purchases it, the more likely it will be that it can be completed in time. Two different Paid Time Research tickets are available for purchase, and you can see what each includes below.

Ticket One

Ticket One will be $2 USD or the equivalent pricing in your local currency.
This ticket includes two separate Timed Research to complete. The first for Winter Holiday Part 1, and the second for Winter Holiday Part 2.

Winter Holiday Part 1 Timed Research includes the following:

The best thing about Ticket Two is the new avatar pose, which really makes me want to prepare myself a nice cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows just looking at it.

Winter Holiday Part 2 Timed Research includes the following:

  • New event avatar pose.
  • 2X Candy when catching Pokemon.
  • Event-themed costumed Pokemon encounters, including the Psyduck wearing holiday attire.

  • 2X Stardust when catching Pokemon.

The bonuses and rewards you get for completing the Timed Research will differ depending on which path you choose. But they will be similar in the sense that both paths will reward trainers with things such as event-costumed Pokemon, and items.
