The Indigo Disk has brought back the thrill of catching and hunting Legendary Pokémon, and one of them is Calyrex’s loyal companion, Glastrier. This time it is found on its own, but where exactly can you find Glastrier in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?
Where is Glastrier Located in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?
Just like with most of the Legendaries from past regions that are present in the Indigo Disk DLC, you’ll have to have finished the main storyline to be able to encounter this Pokémon. Once that is covered, you can head to Blueberry Academy and talk to Snacksworth. He will give you the Glastrier Treat if you’ve completed at least 10 BBQ quests along with a hint about its location.
The snacks he gives you are random, so if you don’t get the Glastrier Snack right away, just keep completing BBQ quests.
As to where exactly in the Paldea region this Pokémon will spawn is not a hard guess. Its Ice type gives us a great hint: it is found at Glaseado Mountain, just a bit south of Glaseado Gym. You can fly to the Gym and glide down from there. Glastrier should be chilling right there in the snow, right between a Pine tree and some ruins. Here’s the location:
Keep in mind that these Legendary encounters are a one-time event, so do not make Glastrier faint. It is an Ice type, so stay clear of Fire, Fighting, Rock, and Steel-type attacks. Also, save your game before initiating a battle with it. Glastrier will appear at level 70, and it won’t charge onto you, so you have all the time to set up your team to fight it.
Glastrier is not a version exclusive, Spectrier can be found in your game of Pokémon Scarlet or Violet, too. Sadly, like most other Legendaries in the DLC, Glastrier is shiny-locked, so the regular Glastrier is the only one you can get.
