A new Epilogue has dropped for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC, bringing a conclusion to the first story we’ve witnessed during The Teal Mask. It lets us catch a final Pokemon to truly complete our (expanded) Dex, but we need the Mythical Pecha Berry first.
Where to Get the Mythical Pecha Berry in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
You can claim the Berry via Mystery Gift. To do so, follow these steps:
- Open the game’s menu and connect your game to the internet;
- Visit the Poke Portal and select Mystery Gift;
- Select the first option (Get via Internet). The Mythical Pecha Berry should be among the selection of possible claimable items.
You can only claim one Pecha Berry per save file. The Key item will be placed in your inventory and allow you to play through the final epilogue, where the player meets Pecharunt and can eventually catch it.
To access the epilogue, you must first complete the Academy Ace Tournament in the post-game, as well as finish The Indigo Disk’s full story. If you have access to 6 and 7-star Tera Raids and have caught Terapagos, this means you’re ready for the final chapter in Gen IX.
Head for Mossui Town and approach the old lady’s shop to your right. Interact with the peach-like stuffed toy on the counter and watch as the story unfolds. The Mochi Mayhem event will automatically start, so have fun in this final chapter!
You can actually claim the gift even if you haven’t done any of these things. You don’t even need to own the DLCs to get it, but the Peach Berry will be useless until you complete these two requirements. Claim it anyway if you plan on getting the DLC later down the line.
After getting a ton more extra story stuff, players are rewarded with being able to catch Pecharunt, the central Pokemon in this story. A worthy final reward after going through all that mess. You don’t need it to get all rewards in the Indigo Disk Pokedex, but a free Mythical Pokemon is always welcome!
