How to Get to the Isle of Armor in Pokemon Sword and Shield

First things first, if you want to get to the new Isle of Armor area, you must have purchased the expansion pass. Now that that’s out of the way, you won’t be able to travel to the Isle of Armor until you’ve visited at least one Wild Area in the main game. If you’ve been playing the game for a while, then you’ve likely already done this. However, if you’re new to the game, you’ll need to play for a few hours before you reach the first Wild Area.

With that out of the way, players should receive an Armor Pass, which will allow them access to the Isle of Armor. After you receive the pass, head to Wedgehurst train station, where you’ll find a new employee at the desk (they should be in a green desk.) Speak with him and give him your Armor Pass and he will take you to the Isle of Armor. Further, upon arrival, you’ll find that your Pokedex has been upgraded with all new species that you can catch!

The Isle of Armor is the first of two Pokemon Sword and Shield expansion planned for this year. By purchasing Isle of Armor expansion pass, you also purchased the Crown Tundra DLC which is set to release later this year. Upon exploring the Isle, you’ll find that there is a new level scaling system that will force you into higher level battles based on the highest level Pokemon in your party. Further, you’ll also find a new machine called the Cram-O-Matic which will allow you to exchange four unwanted items for one random reward. These are just a few of the new things that players will be able to do in the latest Pokemon Sword and Shield DLC.
