If you find yourself in a grand hall with purple and white torches on either side, congratulations! You’ve stumbled across a puzzle. And while it might seem complicated, it’s really not. Here’s how to solve the Gilded Chambers Torch Puzzle in Remnant 2.
How to Solve the Great Hall Torch Puzzle in Remnant 2
I say that you’ll encounter this puzzle in the Gilded Chambers, but it’s just as likely you’ll encounter it in the Great Hall instead. Either way, you’ll know you’re in the right place if you find a long hall with a series of chairs pointed toward a platform. And at the top of this platform? A locked door that can naturally only be opened by solving puzzles.
To solve that puzzle, you’ll need to have the torches on either side of the room turn white. You can shoot the braziers where the flames are held to change their color. And while this seems like it’ll be pretty time-consuming, it’s not! Both sides follow the same pattern.
With “1” being the torch closest to the door, here’s how the pattern breaks down.
- Shooting 1 will change the flames of torches 1 and 2.
- Shooting 2 will change the flames of torches. Shoot 1, 2, and 3.
- Shooting 3 will change the flames of torches 2, 3, and 4.
- Shooting 4 will change the flames of torches 3, 4, and 5.
- Shooting 5 will change the flames of torches 4 and 5.

Once you have all white torches, the locked door at the end of the hall will open. But be wary before you go traipsing in. You’ll encounter several Fae enemies, including your first Teleporter Fae. Defeating this foe will net you the Crimson King Coin. But the real gem is the White Pawn Stamp, which can be found on the left side of the newly opened area.
