Gordo Slimes in both the original Slime Rancher and Slime Rancher 2 provide several benefits. Not only do they drop a bunch of regular slimes, but they unlock access to teleporters, secret tunnels and other normally inaccessible areas. When you encounter one, you’ll always want to try to feed them until they (literally) pop. If you’re interested in learning more, continue reading to find a comprehensive and ever-growing list of all the current Gordo Slime Locations in Slime Rancher 2.
Slime Rancher 2: All Gordo Slime Locations
Gordo Slimes are much larger versions of regular ones. Unlike normal slimes that eat one food item and give a plort in return, Gordos eat anywhere from 15-50 food! However, the reward output is much greater, making it worthwhile to gather food for them.
Below is a list of every Gordo Location we’ve found so far, organized by in-game regions, that’ll update over time.
Rainbow Fields
Pink Gordo
Head west out of the Conservatory and travel through Rainbow Fields to the Refinery Transfer node shown on the map. Head north from here and through a small tunnel until you reach the Pink Gordo. Feed it any food you’d like!
Cotton Gordo
Head west out of the Conservatory and travel through Rainbow Fields. Before reaching the Refinery Transfer node shown on the map, travel south up the ramp until you find the Cotton Gordo. Feed it any vegetable!

Phosphor Gordo
When you exit the Conservatory, head south instead of west. You’ll find a ramp leading down to a pathway by the water. Travel down this path and turn the corner to find the Phosphor Gordo’s cave. Feed it any fruit!
Starlight Strand
Hunter Gordo
After entering the area from Rainbow Fields, travel directly south until you reach a field of Feral Rock-Pink slimes. Head through the small path southwest of this area and follow it until you find the Hunter Gordo. Feed it any meat resources!
Honey Gordo
Out of the teleporter, travel south down the path until you find two exits. Follow the pink grass until you reach an open field with a river, honey slimes and various cliffsides. The Honey Gordo is on a cliffside, nestled in a hole in the stone. Fly up using your jetpack to access it easier! It eats any fruit, with Mint Mango being its favorite!
Angler Gordo
Head south of the Honey Gordo towards the area with the color split down the middle. Go east through the log tunnel and take the left ramp up. Continue along the northern path, heading southeast, until you reach a grove of Flutter Slimes.
Instead of going here, drop down and enter the cave to find the Angler slime along the end of the path. Feed the Gordo meat, particularly Sea Hens, to get it to pop!
Ringtail Gordo
Remember that Flutter Slime grove mentioned before? Make your way there and head up the ramp nearby. If you’re still in the Angler Gordo cave, exit it and go down the path until you find a water spout. Fly up it and go along the upper-level path until you hit the grove.
Upon climbing the ramp, travel west, flying up the mountain ledges along the way, and enter the stone archway. To your right, you’ll find the Ringtail Gordo. Just be careful since, during the day, the Ringtail Gordo will be a stone statue instead! Returning at night will revert it to normal.

Flutter Gordo
Make your way into the southern part of the map until you find the ancient ruins section of the map. You can travel west if you’re still near the Ringtail Gordo. Once you’re in this area, find the entrance connecting the blue to the pink half and fly onto this wall. Continue flying south along the stone until you find the Flutter Gordo on a platform in front of a mysterious glowing crack in the mountain. Feed the Gordo fifteen Moondew Nectar to make it pop!
Ember Valley
Rock Gordo
Bring three Boom Plorts with you and the Jetpack upgrade before traveling to this location!
Head to Ember Valley through the Rainbow Fields teleporter and go west. Once you reach the first archway, jump up the rocks to your right and head into the cave entrance. Venture into the cave until you find a room with a glowing exit before throwing the three Boom plorts into the nearby statues. Go into the now open space with the large pillar. Use the water spout to get onto the pillar and fly to the nearby entrance to find the Rock Gordo. Make sure to feed it veggies, particularly Heart Beets, to get your rewards!
Tabby Gordo
For this next one, you’ll want to start at the Rock Gordo’s location. While you don’t necessarily have to, it’ll make pathing much easier!
Starting from the Rock Gordo’s cave, head out of the room into the area where you found the Boom Plort statues. Go through the northern exit and travel northwest through the grassy plains until you reach two sets of ramps. Head up these, drop down and make an immediate right turn into the nearby cave.
As you traverse through the cave, you’ll encounter an area with crystal slime and a water spout. Stand on the water, fly up and head towards the northernmost island on your map to find the Tabby Gordo. Be sure to feed it any meat foods! If you want to speed up the process, feed it Stony Hens. If you want to see the Crystal Gordo, don’t leave this area just yet.

Crystal Gordo
If you’re already in the Tabby Gordo area, you’re in luck since the Crystal slime is very close. If you aren’t, you’ll have to head back there.
Fortunately, you do not have to go up the water spout towards the northern island. Instead, once you reach the water, head out into the nearby pond and travel south. You’ll find the Crystal Gordo on a stone platform, which you can access using a ramp. Hope you brought some vegetables!
Batty Gordo
If you’re at the Crystal Gordo still, head south and go out of the two exit archways towards the center of the area. If you’re at the teleporter, head west. Once you’re in the center, go west towards Ember Valley’s lava region consisting of Feral Boom-Batty Largos. Stop at the Feral slime sign, though!
Instead of venturing deep into this area, turn around and head into the nearby cave. You’ll eventually enter a large fiery cavern with Crystal, Boom and Batty slimes. Go into the northern room and travel down the path until you find the Batty Gordo. The Gordo is in a small alcove in the wall, next to a small river of lava. As a bonus, you’ll find Fire Slimes here! The Batty Gordo eats fruit, with Pomegranites being its favorite!
Boom Gordo
If you’re still at the Batty Gordo, head out of the cave and return to the Feral Slime sign. If you’re elsewhere, make your way back to this spot. Once you’re at the sign, travel west until you find an archway covered in palm trees. Fly through this archway and go directly west until you find the Boom Gordo in a fancy stone area. Be sure to bring some meat!
Alternatively, if you fed the Batty Slime, you’ll unlock a direct pathway to this place that you can use as a shortcut.
