There are all kinds of ways you can travel around Tears of the Kingdom’s world. You can run on your feet, fast travel, or even create cars. For some high-speed racing action, though, you can use rockets to propel yourself or objects around, making some wacky shenanigans and saving yourself a lot of time if you’re successful with your creations. If you are interested in learning more, continue reading to discover how to get rockets in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Where to Find Rockets in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
There are two main ways to get rockets in Tears of the Kingdom:
- Use Device Dispensers that drop rockets
- Open treasure chests around the map
To try your luck at a Device Dispenser, visit Torin Wasteland or the Jinodok Shrine Sky Island at coordinates (-1221, -1583, 1007). If you’d rather find treasure chests, you’ll find three rockets in one on a pillar near Ekochiu Shrine at coordinates (1037, 1252, 0072).
While rockets aren’t common, you’ll occasionally find them on floating platforms, pillar chests, and sky island Device Dispensers. Make sure to explore the skies often!

What Are Rockets Used For in TOTK?
Rockets are helpful for quickly propelling things like cars, boats and moving platforms. By using Ultrahand and Fuse to attach the rocket, you can hit it with a weapon to launch it in the direction it’s facing. While this is useful for puzzles and quick transportation, you can also use it in goofy situations, such as launching weapons, yourself or even Koroks.
