If you’ve been browsing the internet lately, you’ve seen the horrible crimes against humanity being committed against Koroks in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. If you haven’t found any yet and want to partake or be the bigger person and help them reach their friends, you could use something like the Korok Mask, which makes finding these tricky little guys much easier than normal. But where do you get your hands on such a wonderful piece of equipment? Get ready to dive into the Depths and face some massive monsters.
Where Is The Korok Mask In Tears Of The Kingdom?
Our end goal here is the Forest Coliseum, located at (-0132, 2402, -0621). Starting from the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower (0343, 3133, 0180), you’ll want to dive down into the Drenan Highlands Chasm (-0049, 2987, 0207) and start heading to the Southeast. Along the way, we recommend finding and unlocking the following Lightroots to make the journey easier:
- Nikakik Lightroot (-0396, 2735, -0725)
- Uukukis Lightroot (0697, 2792, -0671)
- Sijnin Lightroot (0355, 1892, -0625)
- Rikonasum Lightroot (0406, 2134, -0592)
- Ramobnukas Lightroot (0166, 2321, -0625)

After discovering the Ramobnukas Lightroot, you’ll begin spotting Mighty Bananas on the ground. Follow them and pick them up, as you’re going to need some healing items to ensure that you can keep up with the monster that waits for you ahead. If you have a Zonai Portable Pot, it may not hurt to heal up and cook some food before going ahead.
As you find the last few Mighty Bananas, you’ll be locked inside the Forest Coliseum and facing off against a Black Hinox. While they can be difficult, follow along with our Hinox Farming guide if you’re looking for the easiest way to dispatch these creatures.
Once you have dispatched the Hinox, a door will open at the back of the Coliseum, revealing a Treasure Chest inside. Head over to it and pop it open with the A button to unveil the Korok Mask within.

As the item description states, the Korok Mask shakes as you approach a spot with a hidden Korok, which will let you upgrade your inventory with Hetsu. These seeds are invaluable items, especially if you’re hoping to carry more weapons and defensive items with you on your journey.
If you’re aiming for a hilarious, yet sadly weak armor setup, you could always wear the Island Lobster shirt alongside this mask. You’ll either look super silly, or you’ll show other players that you’re a force to be reckoned with if you share your clips online.
