Roasting like a cooked vegetable is no fun in The Legend of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom, so getting your hands on some clothing that can help with Heat Resistance early on is rather important. There are a fair number of reasons why you would need something like this, but trying to access Gerudo Town is a major one. Scorching hot during the day and unbearably cold at night, the Desert is a mighty big pain to cross, and the Temple is going to be even worse. Let’s find out how to get our hands on the Desert Voe Armor Set in TotK the easy way.
How To Get Desert Voe Headband In Tears of the Kingdom
If you’re hoping to get the Desert Voe Headband first, you’ll want to make sure that you’ve unlocked the Gerduo Canyon Skyview Tower at coordinates (-2432, -2178, 0307), as this will let you rocket into the air and make your way to Kara Kara Bazaar (-3279, -2521, 0023), the location of the Headband.

How To Get Desert Voe Spaulder & Desert Voe Trousers In Tears Of The Kingdom
In Gerudo Town (-3834, -2915, 0044), depending on where you are story-wise, it can be a dangerous place. Countless new enemy types are roaming around this seemingly empty city, so we need to move fast. Make your way toward the entrance, and swing a quick right to find a hole in the ground.

Jump down this hole (-3793, -2902, 0043) and activate your Glider to make a safe descent. At the bottom, you’ll find a small pond of water and a wall of stones. Grab your favorite smashing tool and get to work on destroying the wall in front of you. Don’t forget that you can fuse a broken rock to a crummy sword to make quick work of it, or fuse a Bomb Flower to an arrow and shoot the wall.
Once you have broken past the initial rock wall, you’ll want to climb onto the newly uncovered wall before you and start smashing again. After you have cleared this path, take a quick left and head into the room before you.
Once you have gotten into this room (-3792, -2920, 0032), you’ll want to use your Ascend ability to make a sneaky entrance into the Secret Fashion Club. The shopkeeper will be shocked to see you, but will not kick you out, even though you are a man. On the right side wall, you’ll spot the Desert Voe Spaulders and Desert Voe Trousers, each available for sale.

You can purchase the Spaulder for 1,300 Rupees, and the Trousers will set you back 650 Rupees. It’s not a cheap set to have, but the benefits completely outweigh the overall cost of these items. Once you have obtained them all, feel free to fast-travel out of this location and go back onto your adventure. Or, if you have the cash, purchase the Snow Boots and Sand Boots right away to make traversal a breeze through some of the harsher weather conditions.
