To cure sick Sims in The Sims 4, you must order medicine from a computer and drink it once the bottle appears in your inventory. A medicine bottle costs 50 Simoleons, is a one-time use item, and will automatically cure your illness, granting you a temporary energized moodlet.
Alternatively, you can drink tea from a Tea Magic Personal Brewer or get a glass of orange from your fridge to lessen the effects of your Sim’s illness. However, these don’t cure your Sim’s disease; instead, they shorten the duration of your negative moodlets.
How to Buy Medicine in The Sims 4
Purchasing medicine in The Sims 4 requires having access to a computer. You can use one at home or a public venue like a library. You must select the computer, click Order, and choose Purchase Medicine before adding it to your cart and confirming. The bottle will appear in your Sim’s inventory, allowing you to select and drink the medicine to cure your character’s illness.
Can You Visit a Doctor in The Sims 4?
While The Sims 4: Get to Work introduces the doctor career and allows you to cure other Sims, you can’t use this or the hospital for your household’s Sims. Instead, doctor Sims can only cure NPCs that visit the hospital, which is otherwise an inaccessible location unless you have a pregnant Sim.
