With the new Tennokai system introduced into Warframe, you can equip certain mods to enhance your heavy melee attack. Here are all Tennokai mods and how to get them in Warframe.
Every Tennokai Mod in Warframe
In total, there are six Tennokai mods you can get in Warframe. Those mods and their effects can be found below.
Mod Name | Mod Effect |
---|---|
Mentor’s Legacy | Enables Tennokai. |
Discipline’s Merit | Enables Tennokai. Opportunities occur every four melee hits instead of at random. |
Dreamer’s Wrath | Enables Tennokai. Increases opportunity chance by 50% and Heavy Attack critical damage by 32%. |
Master’s Edge | Enables Tennokai. Increases Tennokai damage by 60%. |
Condition’s Perfect | Enables Tennokai. Increases status chance by +100% on Tennokai Attacks. |
Opportunity’s Reach | Enables Tennokai. Increases opportunity window to 4.0s and melee range by 3m for Tennokai attacks. |
It’s important to note that you should realistically only have one of these mods equipped onto your melee weapon. Building for multiple Tennokai effects is possible, but you’re losing a lot of power elsewhere by running multiple mods purely for it.
How to Get All Tennokai Mods in Warframe
The Mentor’s Legacy mod is the easiest (and weakest) Tennokai mod to get, being acquired upon completing the Whispers in the Walls main quest. As for the remaining five mods, they’re earned as a random drop from Rotation C of the new Alchemy mission type. This isn’t guaranteed, so you’ll need to farm Alchemy quite a bit. It can be found through either a Fibonacci bounty or through the Cambire node on Deimos.
Which Tennokai Mods Are Worth Using?
As for which Tennokai mods you should consider using, Mentor’s Legacy should only be used if you don’t own any of the other five mods. As for the rest, Discipline’s Merit is outclassed by Dreamer’s Wrath in a majority of circumstances. Opportunity’s Reach also isn’t incredible, even if additional melee range is a nice change of pace. That leaves Dreamer’s Wrath, Master’s Edge, and Condition’s Perfect. There isn’t one that’s necessarily better than the others, since they’re all dependent on your build for the most part. However, Master’s Edge is best if you don’t have a specific build you’re gunning for.
