Regardless of the class you choose to play in Diablo 4, there are tons of opportunities for chance-based skills to appear in a build. Lucky Hits are just another one of those chance-based skills that players can utilize in Diablo 4, but they offer some massive bonuses, and they have their own hit chances as well. We’ll explain what Lucky Hits are in Diablo 4 below.
How do Lucky Hits Work in Diablo 4?
Lucky Hits are attacks that have a chance to activate additional effects. I have one that gives me additional energy 30% of the time. These hits can be applied to active skills and Legendary armor pieces that alter the way your skills work. For example, Rogues can apply Lucky Hits to their imbuement which causes some extra crowd control effects.
As the name suggests, Lucky Hits are entirely random in Diablo 4 and they offer another layer of RNG when you are in a tense fight. Each type of Lucky Hit has its own hit chance percentage, so there is no global number I can give you. When I use the Shadow Imbuement Lucky Hits, there is a 10% chance that I can activate an extra stun that lasts for half a second.

Despite that number being true for Rogues, the chances can go higher or lower on active skills and Legendary equipment. In general, 10% seems to be the sweet spot for Lucky Hits and I also utilized that percentage on some Marksman Skills. You can view the percentage in the advanced options for skills or equipment for your own character.
