Destiny 2 is a massive game that’s stretched on for years. And in that timeframe, we’ve explored new planets, Ascendant Planes, and places that simply shouldn’t exist. But one of the most mysterious locations is undoubtedly the Galaxy Pools. If you’ve heard the tale of this place, you might be wondering what are the Galaxy Pools in Destiny 2?
What are the Galaxy Pools in Destiny 2? – Answered
There are quite a few beautiful places in Destiny 2. But the Galaxy Pools might be one of the loveliest, despite how small it is. This area, which is defined by its neon purple aesthetic and a distant galaxy, has sparked much conversation over the past two years.
But where is it? And what is it for?
To get to the Galaxy Pools, you’re going to have to head to the EDZ, spin your Sparrow in the right spot near The Dark Forest, force your way through a crevice, and clip through the map. Once you’ve clipped through the map, you’re going to want to jump back onto your Sparrow and spin it again until you can hit a particular underground tunnel, which you’ll need your abilities to float through.

Once there, you’ll need to summon your Sparrow again and leave it before repeating the process. That’s right, you’ll need two Sparrows stacked on top of each other in order to glitch your way into the Galaxy Pools.
But if you manage to do so, you’ll be treated with the transcendent sight of a storm-ravaged plane that will eventually lead to the galaxy pools.
As for what this area is, no one knows. It’s possible that it has something to do with The Nine, as the area follows the color scheme and style that we’ve seen in places like The Prophecy dungeon. It’s possible that it will be used in the future. But as it stands, it’s one of the most mysterious places in Destiny 2.
