How to Get Tailraider Vouchers
Tailraider Vouchers are a special item that players can obtain by sending out Palicos on a Tailraider Safari. You can do this by heading to your room and speaking with the Housekeeper in Astera. When you have sent a Palico off on a Tailraider Safari, you’ll need to wait until the Palico returns, then head back to the Housekeeper and speak with them again to get the rewards from the safari. This is also where you’ll get any Tailraider Vouchers that your Palicos might bring back, though you should be aware that they won’t always bring these special items back, so keep an eye out for them.
What is the Tailraider Voucher?
But, what exactly is a Tailraider Voucher? If you read the description on the item itself you’ll be told to visit the Smithy to see what it can do. This has been a bit misleading for many players, as the Smithy doesn’t really react any special way to you having a Tailraider Voucher in your inventory. Instead, the item works simply as a different type of currency that you can spend on specific items that the Smithy has to offer.
So, you’ll need to choose to Forge Equipment and then look through the list of items that you can craft to find one that requires these vouchers. Keep in mind that you’ll still need other items to craft these things, and you may need to head out into a Hunt or Expedition to get those items.
Tailraider Vouchers are simply a second type of currency that players can use instead of Zenny to purchase and craft new items from the Smithy. There are an assortment of items that these vouchers can be used to pick up, and players will want to check them out as they unlock new items and gear to make sure that they are making the most of these special vouchers.
