It has been approximately one week since the launch of Redfall, the new vampire-slaying first-person shooter developed by Arkane Austin and published by Bethesda Softworks. The leadup to the Xbox release of Redfall was plagued with controversy due to the initial 30 FPS (frames per second) cap on Xbox Series X|S, despite the fact that the game was initially promised to run at 60 FPS on Microsoft’s current-gen console. Many gamers continue to ask, when is Redfall getting a 60 FPS patch on Xbox Series X|S? Here is everything we currently know about the upcoming frame rate update for Arkane Austin’s new FPS on Xbox.
When Will Redfall’s Frame Rate be Improved on Xbox?
Unfortunately, as of this writing, there is no information on when Redfall will be getting a 60 FPS patch. While the game runs at 4K resolution with 60 FPS on PC, the frame rate remains capped at 30 frames per second on the Xbox Series X|S. It is certainly disappointing, as Xbox gamers are eager to enjoy the long-awaited console exclusive at the highest graphical fidelity and frame rate possible.
