Once you’ve beaten Diablo 4’s campaign, you’re just one dungeon away from unlocking World Tier 3. And that dungeon is the capstone dungeon. Here’s how to find capstone dungeons in Diablo 4.
Where to Find Capstone Dungeons in Diablo 4
Diablo 4 is a game that gears itself to those who love a challenge and lots of rewards. And the best way to do that is to gain access to higher World Tiers, from Nightmare to Torment. But if you’ve completed the campaign and still don’t see these dungeons, don’t despair. Here’s how to find them.
For the World Tier 3: Nightmare Capstone Dungeon, you’ll need to have completed the campaign. Once that’s done, make sure your difficulty setting is at World Tier 2.
To change your World Tier setting, head to Kyovashad, then head to the statue just north of the waypoint, on the way to the Cathedral of Light. On your map, it will be a white, circular icon. Interact with it and change your difficulty setting.

Once that’s done, you should see a golden dungeon icon in the Cathedral of Light in Kyovashad.
Enter the Cathedral, then head to the back left. There will be a giant door which you can interact with to enter the Capstone Dungeon. These dungeons feature two parts and two sets of bosses, so get ready for a slog.
To unlock World Tier 4: Torment Capstone Dungeon, you’ll need to first complete the campaign, then complete the World Tier 3: Nightmare Capstone dungeon. Next, change your difficulty setting to World Tier 3. The World Tier 4: Capstone Dungeon will then appear on your map in the Dry Steppes to the East of the city of Ked Bardu. The level recommendation for this dungeon is level 70.
If you’re struggling with dungeons, I highly recommend you bring in elixirs and incense. Those buffs can make all the difference, especially against the dungeon bosses. Check out how to make incense here: How to Get Incense in Diablo 4.
