Wild Hearts: How to Get Silken Thread
To get Silken Thread in Wild Hearts, you’ll need to progress far enough in the story to unlock the Akikure Canyon. This will be done by defeating specific monster hunts and progressing into chapter two.

You can find a list of the monsters you must defeat in order to gain access to Akikure Canyon.

- Sapscourge
- Kingtusk
- SpineGlider
- Lavaback
- Gritdog
- Earthshaker
Once you’ve defeated these monsters, which are spread out across two different zones, you’ll be given access to the third new area, Akikure Canyon.
From here, you’ll be able to find Silken Thread all over the island. It will stand out with its spiderweb-like aesthetic and its piercing white color. Just walk up to it and click L2/LT to collect it like you would any other resources you find on the ground.
There isn’t one specific spot in Akikure Canyon where you will find Silken Thread. It will be all over the island, so keep your eyes peeled and do a couple of laps to collect enough. After gathering enough for your recipe, head back to the forge and craft whatever piece of armor or sick new weapon you’re trying to get.
