While exploring the engrossing world of Anthem, many players have wondered whether the game has or will ever offer cross-platform support. Over the last few years, gamers have seen a rise of crossplay support in multiplayer titles like Rocket League.
This increase in crossplay is undoubtedly exciting, though it also leaves behind a bit of confusion over which games support crossplay, or plan to in the future. Given the cooperative nature of Anthem’s gameplay, it seems like it would be the perfect fit for crossplay support.
Unfortunately, it’s been confirmed that Anthem will not support cross-platform play at launch. As for whether crossplay support could be added by BioWare in the future, the team hasn’t ruled out the possibility. However, no immediate plans have been drafted for adding crossplay to Anthem.
Until more is known about BioWare’s plans to add crossplay, the game is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC.
