Ark: Survival Ascended will be releasing on consoles sometime in November 2023. But will that include a release on Xbox Game Pass?
Will ARK: Survival Ascended be on Xbox Game Pass?
There is currently no confirmation that Ark: Survival Ascended will be on Xbox Game Pass at launch. Considering Ark: Survival Ascended’s console release date in November hasn’t been specified, there is a possibility that an Xbox Game Pass launch simply hasn’t been announced yet. The game’s October 25 release for PC was also a surprise, opening up the potential for additional surprise announcements in the future. There is also the possibility that Ark: Survival Ascended will be added to Xbox Game Pass sometime after its console launch in November. But there is currently no concrete confirmation that the game will be added to Xbox Game Pass at any point.
What is ARK: Survival Ascended?
Ark: Survival Ascended is a remake of Ark: Survival Evolved, a game that has been available on Xbox Game Pass since 2018. This makes the possibility of Ark: Survival Ascended coming to Xbox Game Pass seem even higher, but nothing is set in stone yet.
ARK: Survival Ascended will benefit from Unreal Engine 5, moving this reimagining of the previous game into the next generation. Similar to its predecessor, Survival Ascended will task players with the usual crafting and gathering elements they’d expect while surviving in the wild against primeval creatures and enemy players.
Public online servers will support up to 70 players, while private-session multiplayer servers will support up to eight. ARK: Survival Ascended will also include a local split-screen mode for two players.
