There’s a lot of reasons to be excited for Detroit: Become Human. As the next game from developers Quantic Dream—responsible for titles like Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls—Detroit: Become Human is already expected to be a riveting and emotional journey that players won’t soon forget. Set in a futuristic Detroit, where Androids have become almost ‘slaves’ to human society, Detroit: Become Human is sure to be a thrilling and exciting journey. In light of all the hype, many people are curious to know if Detroit: Become Human will come to Xbox One and PC. Here’s what you need to know.
Will Detroit: Become Human Come to Xbox One?
The short answer here is no. Players shouldn’t expect to ever see Detroit: Become Human reach the Xbox One or PC. The game was developed in tandem with Sony and is currently only going to be available as a PlayStation 4 exclusive. Quantic Dream has a lot of deep ties with Sony, and the two companies have had a long-standing partnership for several years at this point.
Knowing the history that the companies have together, it’s hard to believe that Quantic Dream would change things up at this point and jump ship to Microsoft just to make more money. Because of this, we’d advise that you don’t expect to see Detroit: Become Human makes it way to the PC, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch at any point in the near future. With over a decade of partnership between Sony and Quantic Dream, the developers have made their corner of the console market very clear.
Still, though, that doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy Detroit: Become Human. Now that you know it isn’t coming to the Xbox One or PC, you can make sure to pick it up on PlayStation 4 and experience the journey of a life time. Of course, we’ll have plenty of content covering the game once it releases, so be sure to pay attention to that for all your Detroit: Become Human resources and strategy content.
