This year, WoW’s Brewfest and Hallow’s End events got a “refresh” courtesy of patch 10.1.7. How big are the changes? Well, not that big, but still welcome. Plus, we have access to a few nifty new rewards, as well as some parity with the latest expansion, Dragonflight, as our Brewfest adventures spill over into Valdrakken.
WoW Brewfest 2023 New Rewards
Renewed Proto-Drake: Brewfest Armor – Rare drop from Coren Direbrew’s Keg-Shaped Treasure Chest, once per day per character (with less of a drop chance after your first attempt each day)
Orange Brewfest Bulwark shield appearance – Purchased for 200 Brewfest Prize Tokens from vendors.
Brew Barrel Toy – Purchased for 200 Brewfest Prize Tokens from vendors.
Where to Purchase Brewfest Rewards in WoW
You can purchase Brewfest items using your earned tokens from either Bilbi Quikswitch outside Ironforge at the Brewfest grounds (Alliance) or Blix Fixwidget outside Orgrimmar (Horde).
You can earn Brewfest Prize Tokens by completing Daily Quests, queueing for and defeating Coren Direbrew (in the LFG menu), and by repeating the Ram Race each day after completing the quest There and Back Again.
New activities to Brewfest this year include several “Invasion” daily quests that appear at random intervals throughout the fairgrounds. These reward 10 tokens each, and there are 3 in total. You can also participate in the Brewfest Chowdown activity with three other players as you chomp sausage and quaff beer as you.. try not to choke to death.
Brewfest also takes you to Valdrakken this year, with a couple daily quests to be completed there also. One sees you collecting bubbles of ale on your Dragonriding mount, while another has you delivering a barrel of booze as you ride it perilously down flights of stairs while trying not to crash.
I’m most looking forward to the upcoming Hallow’s End refresh, which (if I’ve been told correctly) should correspond with some sort of Scarlet Keep refresh as well!
