Ah, fast traveling. For many, it’s a beloved feature in video games that allows you to zip around maps in the blink of an eye. While at first, you may suspect that Honkai: Star Rail doesn’t have fast traveling, as there’s no immediate sign of it existing, this couldn’t be further from the truth. The system is right under our noses early on; we just have to wait a bit to experience it fully. If you want to learn more, continue reading to discover how to fast travel in Honkai: Star Rail.
How to Fast Travel in Honkai: Star Rail
When you first load into the game and start the tutorial, you’ll have limited options for navigating your menus and maps. For the most part, you’ll learn how to run around and engage in combat, picking up a few playable characters along the way. However, after some time, you’ll begin to spot Space Anchors, floating blue crystals that heal your team.
Or, well, that’s what they do at first. You’ll discover their main feature as you continue through the main story!
Shortly after finishing the first Simulated Universe quest and having a few chats with the mission’s NPCs, you’ll find a brief tutorial telling you how to fast travel. Using these blue Space Anchors, you can head into your in-game map and warp to any other anchor you’ve previously visited.
As a bonus, you’ll also learn how to turn on auto battles in Honkai: Star Rail around this time.

While it does take a bit of time to get to this point, you can rest assured that it shouldn’t take much longer than a couple of hours. At least, that’s how long it took for me, but I spent a while looking at the settings and banners on launch day. If you don’t get distracted easily by gacha and character trials, you’ll probably get here faster than I did.
