Many action RPGs, such as Dark Souls 2 and Monster Hunter World, allow you to duel wield weapons, but can you duel wield in Enshrouded? Here’s what you need to know.
Does Enshrouded Have Duel Wielding?
If you’re looking to equip two weapons simultaneously, unfortunately, you won’t be able to do so, as Enshrouded does not have dual wielding at the time of writing, meaning you cannot wield two weapons at the same time.
Enshrouded is in Early Access, meaning that it is possible that the game could get duel wielding added in a future patch or the full release, though Keen Games has yet to comment on this, so it’s just pure speculation at this point.
How to Switch Weapons in Enshrouded
While Enshrouded does not have dual wielding, you can switch your equipped weapon easily between melee and ranged. To do this, press Q on your keyboard or LT/L2 on your controller to ready your ranged weapon.
You can also swap between melee weapons quickly if you have them in your Action hotbar. Use your mouse scroll wheel or press Num 1-8 on your keyboard or your controller’s D-Pad to do this.
It would be nice if we could duel wield weapons in Enshrouded but, for now, we will just have to make do with using the Action hotbar to swap between different weapons quickly. It’s not quite the same, but it’s good enough.
If you’re just starting out on your adventure and need help, find out how to get and use Metal Scraps in Enshrouded, a valuable early-game resource that is necessary for getting decent weapons, armor, and materials. Resin is also an incredibly useful item for beginners.
