Cyberpunk 2077 and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Collide With This Mod

Tired of dying over and over again in Sekiro? Well, now do it with a neon flair!

Players definitely die more than twice in the latest hit from the makers of Dark Souls, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, but at least now we can all die in style thanks to a mod heavily inspired by CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077.

From the seemingly unbeatable bosses, to the incredible narrative, FromSoftware’s latest brutal adventure has been met with overwhelmingly positive praise from players around the world. Though difficult, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has a lot to offer, but one modder decided to channel that Cyberpunk love in a creative way by giving a few personal touches to the characters seen in-game.

“So Cyberpunk 2077 is something that has me maybe a little too hyped, so I went on and retexture many parts of Sekiro’s body, as well as his sword. I took some bright neon-ish colors to match with a black base for the clothes and added decals (Cyberpunk 2077’s logo, that design from the samurai jacket shown in game, a kanji for death and another one for life),” modder ChristianBliss said about giving Sekiro that admittedly awesome neon makeover. “Made bandages red and ropes blue looking like wires, or that’s what I’d like to think.”

While we still don’t have a release date for Cyberpunk 2077 quite yet, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The above mod is only available on PC, but for those interested — you can download it right here from Nexus Mods free.
