Over the past few months, we’ve seen bits and pieces of Activision’s Call of Duty: Ghosts that indicate this could be the biggest game in the series to date. Today, we received new single player campaign footage.
The trailer first begins in outer space, where a huge gun battle ensues – yes, in space – before huge rods strike the Earth, shattering defenses and leaving the United States susceptible to attack from outside forces. From there, the Ghosts go into action, infiltrating enemy bases and escaping huge explosions while trying to complete their mission at hand.
This latest video shows the hard work Infinity Ward put into the game, especially on the level design. At one point, you battle on what appears to be a fast-moving train while avoiding an incoming helicopter. That’s just one of the many scenarios the single player campaign is sure to hold.
Call of Duty: Ghosts releases for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PC on November 5th, and Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at a later date.
