There are some interesting trends found in the top ten highest-rated superhero games of all time, which are as follows:
- Eight of the top ten greatest superhero games are in the “action-adventure” genre, while two are fighting games.
- Marvel and DC are almost equally represented, with five and four games in the top ten, respectively.
- Insomniac and Rocksteady account for six of the ten highest-rated superhero games of all time, with three entries each.
- Four of the all-time greatest superhero games launched as PlayStation exclusives.
- inFAMOUS is the only top ten superhero game that does not include Batman or Spider-Man.
